Multiple Z-Box Hubs can all be centrally managed using MyHub ID account. This enables you to control multiple smart homes or properties, switch between different hubs from one login page, and even remotely access all devices and automation scenes on each hub.
Keep in mind that while you can link multiple hubs to the MyHub ID Account, each individual hub can only be linked to one Fibaro ID at a time. If you need access to a hub that is already assigned to another MyHub ID, ask the Administrator to grant you user access. Remember, MyHub ID is only needed for remote control. Locally, you can still access the hub directly via its IP address or S/N.
Adding Multiple Z-Box Hubs to One MyHub ID Account
Step 1: Create a new or log in to an existing MyHub ID.
- Go to https://remote-zbox.myhubid.com/
- If you added your hub to the Remote Access during hub activation, click LOG IN and enter your credentials. Otherwise, click Register your account if you don’t already have an account and follow the prompts to create your ID.
- This account will be used to link and access all your hubs. For detailed steps on how to create your HubID check out the article here that details how to enable remote access.
Step 2: Connect your Z-Box Hub to MyHub ID.
You’ll need to repeat this step for each hub you want to manage remotely.
For Each Hub:
- Login to https://remote-zbox.myhubid.com/ and click on Add New.
2. Provide all required information that can be found on the back of the physical Hub.
3. Once the hub is added to the account, you can click on Open to access the hub.
4. In order to access a specific hub, you will have to provide your login information associated with the hub you are trying to access. Those are the same credentials you created when onboarding your hub.
Step 3: Repeat for Other Hubs
Repeat the process above for every Z-Box Hub you want to manage from this particular HubID Account.
Managing Users and Granting Permissions
There are three user types:
- Administrator (usually the person who activated the hub)
- Standard user:
- Can control devices (turn them on/off).
- Can view device statuses and history.
- Lacks access to system-wide settings and configuration interface.
- Advanced User:
- Includes all privileges of a standard User.
- Can be granted access to certain system settings, scenes, zones, and device configurations.
You can share access to each specific hub by sending an invitation to create an account from the Access/Users section under the Settings Menu. The administrator would be the one setting up and granting the access. There can be only one user with the administrator role, but the Admin role can be transferred to another user at any time.
